I’m Gaël Klimala, a visual and multimedia designer with 15+ years of experience turning complex ideas into clear, useful experiences. My work spans accessible eLearning, technical content, brand systems, presentations, motion, print, web, and UI. I care about strong visual storytelling, thoughtful structure, and the small details that make finished work easier to understand and use.
At SAIC, I create accessible multimedia and training content while collaborating with stakeholders, subject matter experts, instructional designers, and developers. I also co-own Dyadic Alchemy, where I guide custom design projects from original concepts through production-ready artwork, vendor coordination, and final delivery.
I’m completing a second bachelor’s of science degree in Digital Strategy and Audience Engagement at Arizona State University, with minors in Project Management and Sociology. That education adds audience behavior, marketing, and project planning to my visual design background. Put simply, I like work that looks good, makes sense, and does its job.

• My work follows Section 508 and WCAG standards from the start. I also collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, instructional designers, and developers to keep projects accurate, consistent, and useful.

Dyadic Alchemy
Co-Owner & Visual Designer | North Carolina | Concurrent Small Business
• I co-own Dyadic Alchemy with my husband, Lee, creating original logos, brand identities, apparel, promotional products, business cards, flyers, signage, and custom gift items.
• I lead the design side from start to finish, including client conversations, concept development, typography, layout, pricing, approvals, production-ready artwork, ordering, and delivery.
• I coordinate artwork specifications with DTF, sublimation, and screen-printing vendors, while Lee handles production and quality control. That division lets each of us focus on what we do best and helps keep the finished work consistent.

• I produced and managed approximately 25 HTML-based email campaigns each week in Constant Contact while keeping the content accurate, visually consistent, and on schedule.
• By improving visual hierarchy, formatting, and overall readability, I helped increase average email open rates from approximately 18% to 26% within six months.
• I also created luxury-property video tours, promotional graphics, social media assets, email content, and branded marketing materials during ABI’s rise from No. 5 to No. 1 in Ranking Arizona’s multifamily brokerage category.

Grid.works
Part-Time Multimedia Designer | Phoenix, Arizona | ABI Multifamily Subsidiary
• I redesigned and developed The Grid.works website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, giving the company a more modern and consistent digital presence.
• I created promotional videos, motion graphics, and branded digital content that helped explain the company’s services in a more visual and engaging way.
• My work extended across web, LinkedIn, video, print, apparel, business cards, flyers, and promotional materials, keeping campaigns connected across very different formats.
2017
iTRACS
Contract Graphic Designer | Tempe, Arizona
• I translated complex technical requirements into more than 400 high-precision vector diagrams for enterprise software, where small visual mistakes could create much larger problems.
• Using Photoshop and Illustrator, I also recreated detailed reference photographs while maintaining accurate proportions, consistent styling, and clean production quality.
• The project moved quickly and required close attention to every detail. I completed the full body of work without any requested client revisions.
I’m Gaël Klimala, a designer who likes her pixels clean, her icons smart, and her tools ready to go. This visual designer resume gives you the basics, but the real story is in how I work. I use Adobe Creative Suite and Storyline 360 to turn big ideas into clear, accessible designs; everything from interactive FAA training to GenAI-powered visuals for blog posts and brand kits.
I work full-time with SAIC, creating 508-compliant training content that supports national learning goals. It’s a mix of structure and style: scripting, layout, interaction design, and accessibility all rolled into one. Outside of that, I co-run Dyadic Alchemy, where I create promo gear and visual systems for small businesses getting their feet under them.
I’m also earning a second bachelor’s degree in Digital Audience Strategy at Arizona State University, with minors in Project Management and Sociology. I added those because good design doesn’t live in a vacuum. It lives at the intersection of knowing what people want, how they behave, and how to keep a team running on time.
This accessible design resume includes roles where I led visual strategy, built complete training systems, and even fixed messy handoffs that could’ve derailed a deadline. My tools include Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and more AI tools than I probably need…but they help me explore fast and finish smart.
If you want to see how I bring those skills into actual projects, check out my portfolio. You’ll see a mix of clean UI, smart layouts, and flexible systems, all tailored to the people using them. This digital design resume gives you the what. The portfolio gives you the how.
