Collection Overview
AI-Assisted Creative Media is an ongoing collection of self-directed projects exploring how generative AI can support design, storytelling, instructional content, and video production. Each project begins with a communication goal, concept, script, or visual idea rather than a one-click prompt.
I lead the creative direction and decide how each piece should look, sound, and communicate. Depending on the project, I may develop the concept, write the script, design the visuals, create or direct an AI avatar, generate voice or motion elements, and assemble everything through traditional editing and design tools.
These projects give me space to test unfamiliar platforms, compare workflows, identify where the technology succeeds or fails, and refine the results through human judgment. The project collection below shows how I have applied those tools across different audiences, formats, and communication goals.
- See how I combined an AI-generated presenter, synthetic narration, screen recording, and traditional editing to create a workplace software tutorial. The project page covers my production workflow, tool decisions, creative challenges, and lessons from the experiment.
- See how I created an AI-assisted media literacy video that teaches young Roblox players to recognize suspicious offers. The project page explores the audience strategy, educational message, production process, creative decisions, and opportunities for a future remake.

How I Evaluate AI Tools
I approach generative AI as one part of a larger creative process. A tool may produce an impressive result quickly, but that does not automatically make it useful, accurate, or appropriate for the intended audience. I evaluate each platform based on how well it supports the communication goal and how much creative control it allows me to retain.
- Purpose Before Platform: I define the audience, message, and intended outcome before deciding whether an AI tool belongs in the workflow.
- Creative Control: I look for tools that allow me to shape the visual direction, voice, movement, pacing, and final presentation rather than accepting the first generated result.
- Quality and Consistency: I review facial movement, lip-syncing, voice delivery, visual continuity, accuracy, and common generation errors before using an output.
- Workflow Value: I consider whether the platform saves meaningful production time, supports repeatable work, and improves the finished piece rather than adding technology simply for novelty.
