About the author
I’m the creative brain behind The Creative Alchemist. Born in Haiti, raised on curiosity. By day, I’m a Visual Designer and FAA contractor. By night (and weekends, and sometimes lunch breaks), I’m a student at ASU, working on a second bachelor’s in Digital Audience Strategy with a focus on marketing and sociology. It’s not as chaotic as it sounds. I’ve just accepted that sleep is negotiable when ideas are flowing.
I’ve got a background in visual design, a knack for decoding audience behavior, and a habit of turning everyday tools into weirdly useful stuff. My husband and I run a small business called Dyadic Alchemy, where we blend design, tech, and low-key chaos to create custom merch and digital goods with actual brains behind them. It's a wild ride.
Right now, I’m fully hooked on GenAI. I use it to make images, animations, videos, and sometimes fashion choices that should come with disclaimers. Expect to see lots of experiments with tools like Midjourney, DALL·E, and Kling AI. This blog is where I break things, remix them, and occasionally discover gold. You can see the more polished results over on my portfolio.
Sometimes I’ll post about classes or assignments, especially when they collide with my interests in branding, misinformation, or human behavior. But don’t expect dry academic recaps. This space is still fully “me,” just with a little more citation formatting on the side.
So whether you're here for insight, inspiration, or just to see what happens when someone adds too many layers to a Photoshop file, welcome. This blog is part digital lab, part brain dump, and part creative therapy. Stick around. It gets weirder and better from here.
