Project Details

At SAIC, I support FAA training across multiple task orders, working in multimedia design, eLearning development, visual communication, accessibility, and quality assurance. Because this work involves sensitive government training, I am unable to show the actual projects publicly. Instead, this page focuses on the skills, systems, and design thinking behind my work.

A large part of my role involves turning complex technical information into training that is clear and easier to use. I develop interactive content in Articulate Storyline 360, create narrated PowerPoint lessons, design graphics and technical illustrations, build assessments, and use animation and multimedia when they help explain the content. To date, my work has included more than 28 Storyline modules, eight gamified learning experiences, and over 50 narrated lessons.

I collaborate with federal stakeholders, subject matter experts, instructional designers, and developers throughout the development process. My responsibilities include interpreting requirements, presenting design concepts, responding to feedback, testing completed materials, and maintaining visual and instructional consistency.

I apply Section 508 and WCAG standards throughout the work, including keyboard navigation, focus order, color contrast, captions, transcripts, accessible documents, and quality reviews.

Consistency is another major part of my role. I created and maintain a library of more than 250 standardized icons and a team style guide. These resources reduce repetitive production work, help developers work more efficiently, and keep the visual language consistent across lessons.

Since I cannot show the actual training, I created this French vocabulary game as an independent Storyline 360 project. It demonstrates custom states, triggers, feedback layers, navigation, audio, and visual cues through a simple match-and-learn activity.

The subject is more playful than my professional work, but the thinking behind it is similar: organize the information, make the interaction easy to follow, provide useful feedback, and keep the learning experience visually clear.
